Wedding Receptions
Planning for the Two Most Memorable Aspects of Your Wedding - the Food and DJ

Wedding ReceptionsAlmost everyone will find themselves planning a wedding as some point in their lives. There are so many aspects of planning a wedding. Most of these aspects are made more important then they actually are.
There are really only two things that people will remember about your wedding in the years to come. They will remember the food, and if the DJ got them moving or not. Everything else will most likely be forgotten. You really need to take these things into consideration when planning the wedding.
Other then going to the hall where your wedding is, there is only one other aspect of your wedding that all of your guests will take part in. Everyone will be eating the food. Almost all halls that will hold wedding receptions will allow you to test the food before booking the hall. Make sure that you take advantage of this. My wife and I had a few halls in mind for our reception, until we tried the food. If a facility does not allow you to try the food ahead of time, you should not even consider booking that facility.
Most DJ companies will allow you to watch your proposed DJ before you book him or her for your wedding. The DJ is the one who will tie all of the sections of your reception together. It is their job to get people involved in the dancing, and keep their attention throughout the night. Make sure that they can do the job before spending your money.
Some companies will have organized shows for you to go watch. These shows may be held at a local hotel, or convention center. If you are considering a particular DJ company, contact them to see if you can go to one of these shows it they have them.
Companies that hold these shows will usually offer discounts to couples that come to the shows. Every little bit of money that can be saved can go along way.
If a company does not hold a DJ show, ask if you can go see them in action at a local wedding. These companies will allow you to stop in once the music starts at a wedding. It is a great way to judge if a DJ is right for you once you see them in action.
Any DJ that does not offer you to view them ahead of time should be avoided. If they are not interested in having their work evaluated should not work for you.
There are many aspects of planning a wedding. Make sure that you take the time that is needed to prepare for the two most remembered aspects of the average wedding.
